The Cardigans are one of my all time favorite bands. Most known for LoveFool the 'love me, love me, say that you love me. Fool me, fool me, go on and fool me' Romeo + Joliet soundtrack song. Kleerup, the featured artist on Robyn's smash With Every Heartbeat are releasing a new 2008 Cardigans remix of 'Erase/Rewind' (a #7 UK hit) from 1998 Gran Turismo album. A 10 year anniversary I guess. The dark kleerup beats combined with Nina's bittersweet vocals make for a hot hot mix! The Cardigans, Robyn and Kleerup are all from Sweden. Swedish music is taking over the world! :-) | Erase/Rewind (2008 Remix by Kleerup) | | Erase/Rewind 2008 | | The Cardigans

MGMT is a psychedelic synthpop group formed in 2002 in Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden, originally from Memphis Tennessee, (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Ben Goldwasser (vocals, keyboards, synths, drums), both alumni of Wesleyan University. Electronic Indie Dance Rock began as a thesis project from music majors at Wesleyan University. They used to be known as “the management” with songs about not quite growing up and a lot of nonsense. Andrew Vanwyngarden, one of the MGMT figureheads, is currently collaborating with of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes, with plans to release a record in 2008 under the name Blikk Fang. MGMT was on tour with Of Montreal in late 2005 (and again in 2007) and VanWyngarden has been appearing on stage during some performances on Of Montreal’s summer 06 tour. | Time To Pretend | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Weekend Wars | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | The Youth | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Electric Feel | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Kids | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Electric Feel | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Kids | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | 4th Dimensional Transition | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Pieces Of What | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Of Moons, Birds & Monsters | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | The Handshake | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT | | | Future Reflections | | Oracular Spectacular | | MGMT

Easy... Easy... It's not me, thou we kinda have a same name :)lol. Gw sebenernya ga terlalu into this kind of music, tp gw suka aja with the way he sings, and his british accent!! Lepas bgt! (Kok gw jadi kaya Cinta Laura gini ya ngomongnya? :)) NME award-winner Jamie Treays is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Wimbledon, South London, England. He is signed to Virgin Records but released his Betty and The Selfish Sons EP on his own Pacemaker Records label in 2007. His musical style is hard to place, but incorporates elements of rap, reggae, Indie and acoustic genres, although it is sometimes grouped with as ‘thamesbeat’ (alongside acts like Larrikin Love and Mystery Jets). Although at the time of writing Jamie has received relatively little mainstream exposure, he has received airplay from BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, who made “Salvador” his single of the week and “Back In The Game” his Hottest Record In The World. In January 2007 Jamie also covered Zane’s show on radio 1 whilst Zane was away, working alongside Radio 1 DJ Nihal. On Jo Whiley’s show, “Back In The Game” featured as her “pet sound” and more recently his single Sheila was Whiley’s Record Of The Week. Jamie also remixed Gorillaz #36 single Kids With Guns. This was a B-side. “Sheila” was also ‘playlisted’ by Radio 1 thus receiving more airtime across all shows. To date Jamie has released three singles: “Sheila” was released on July 3rd and got to No.22 in the U.K. singles chart, his first Top 40 hit. “If You’ve got the money”, was released in October and reached No.13 in the UK top 40, and most recently “Calm Down Dearest” was released in the UK on January 15, 2007, reaching No.12, his highest charting commercial success. “Panic Prevention”, Jamie’s Debut album, was released on 29/1/2007 - although it was also leaked on the internet 3 weeks earlier. Jamie’s no stranger to internet bootleggers, there’s also a naughty ‘Demos’ album hanging around on the world wide highway containing alternative and live performances. On March 1, 2007, Treays was voted as Best Solo Artist at the NME Awards, at Hammersmith Palais in London, England. He held off more established names like Thom Yorke & Jarvis Cocker, to receive the award. | Brand New Bass Guitar | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Salvador | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Calm Down Dearest | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | So Lonely Was The Ballad | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Back In The Game | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Operation | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Sheila | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Pacemaker | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Dry Off Your Cheeks | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Ike And Tina | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | If You Got The Money | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Alicia Quays | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Northern Line (Bonus) | | Panic Prevention | | Jamie T | | | Rawhide 'feat. GoodBooks evolution began when Max and Leo started doing Beatles covers in their attic when they were 8 and Max’s mum used to teach Chris at primary school. It took till 2001 for the band to take shape when at Sevenoaks School in Kent, Max and Leo came together with Chris and JP to form The Fingerprints. The Fingerprints set about their musical career by self-recording two albums; Cards on the Table, Clothes on the Floor and Miranda. Tracks such as "Tangerine" appeared on local radio stations such as BBC Radio Kent and KMFM. The band also started gigging locally in the South-East during this time, with regular gigs at the Tunbridge Wells Forum helping them to develop a modest regional fanbase, even performing in front of 8,000 people on one eventful Christmas. The Fingerprints disbanded in late 2004 when their then-bassist left. The band decided to continue as a four piece and on the day of their first rehearsal "Walk With Me" was created. The band continued to write more songs but this time they had a maturer more electronic-influenced sounds. The sessions created tracks from the Valves and Robots EP such as "Passchendaele" and "Isabella" which not only became fan favourites but impressed influential members of the industry and in late 2005 the band signed a deal for a one-off single with indie label Transgressive Records. The Teenagers are a French pop-electro-rock band who hail from Paris but currently reside in London. Michael does vocals and plays the bass, Dorian does guitar, computers and vocals, and Quentin is the songwriter and lead vocalist. Initially, they formed as a joke; they created a MySpace profile for their nonexistent band and used the comments they received as the inspiration for their first lyrics (as heard on "Fuck Nicole"). The Merok label signed the band and released a couple of the band's singles in 2007, including "Homecoming" (which featured "Fuck Nicole" as a B-side) and "Starlett Johansson" (an obvious and typically goofy paean to actress Scarlett Johansson). The XL label released Reality Check, the band's first album, in early 2008.
