Vapnet is a Swedish indie band from Östersund.
The band started when the lyrics writer Martin Abrahamsson wrote the song "Ge dom våld". The song didn't fit in Sibiria, the band where Martin Abrahamsson used to play. So he started the new band, Vapnet, together with the singer from Sibiria, Martin Hanberg.
The other members are Anna Modin, Per-Olof Stjernered, Jesper Hedin and David Nygård.
